A wearable photobiomodulation headband, designed to support mitochondrial biogenesis and cognition.
What it is
BrainBand is a wearable photobiomodulation headband. High-power 810 nm LEDs deliver near-infrared light to the frontal lobe, either continuously or pulsed at alpha (10 Hz) or gamma (60 Hz) frequencies.
The intent
Photobiomodulation uses specific wavelengths of light to influence cellular activity. BrainBand is designed to support mitochondrial biogenesis and cognition.
Positioning
BrainBand is positioned as a wellness device, not a therapeutic good.
Where it is
In development, with a planned launch in July 2027. More detail will be published as the hardware matures.
